MATILDA TACKITT was the second daughter of Martin D. and Cynthia Tackitt, born abt. 1841 in Pope County, Arkansas. She, her widowed mother Cynthia Tackitt, and 6 of her 7 siblings died in the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Matilda Tackitt was 16 years old when she died.
