Born July 22, 1943 in Norfolk, he was the son of the late Edgar Miller, Sr. and Lillian Rose Morgan.
He retired as a school principal from the Tidewater area, was a member of the Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Morgan, and a son, Brian Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Morgan, a son, Stephen Morgan and his wife Sarah of Portsmouth, two step-sons, Brent Griffin of North Carolina, Dustin Griffin of Waynesboro, two daughters, Lisa Gurkin and her husband Steve of Maryland, Amy Binda and her husband Bob of Waynesboro, a brother, Ronnie Morgan and his wife Mary of Norfolk, three sisters, Patsy Harcum and her husband Jim of Tennessee, JoAnne Martin and her husband Joe of Virginia Beach, Evie Douglass and her husband Jeff of Chesapeake, four grandchildren, Logan Lovingood, Campbell Lovingood, Harmon Gurkin and Peyton Morgan.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene by Pastors Claude Parent, Jeff Griffith and Josh Haney. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
