Mrs. Paula Jayne Stranger Pruitt, age 55, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 in a Kingsport, Tennessee hospital.
She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of Mildred "Sis" Stranger of Richlands, Virginia and the late Arver G. Stranger.
She was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area and was a former manager of the First Choice Cash Advance at Claypool Hill, Virginia. She was a member of the Layman's Chapel Church in Richlands, Virginia where she was very active with the Interpretive Dance Team. She was a Richlands High School Class of 1973 graduate and received her Associate's degree in Business and Accounting from SVCC.

Thomas Stranger, Angie Stranger, and Rev. Jamie Steffey officiating. Interment will follow at Hankins Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Stephen Breedlove, Josh Young, Dan Young, Gilbert Pruitt, David Pruitt, and Dan Evans officiating.
