Charlotte Lee Prunty (nee Wiley), 95, of Elyria passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Center Ridge Health Campus. She was born August 6, 1915 in North Ridgeville and was a life long resident of Elyria.
Charlotte was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Elyria. She enjoyed handcrafts, crocheting, and reading.
Mrs. Prunty is survived by her son Dale Prunty of Iowa Park, TX; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister June Brainard of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon C. Prunty (1993), daughter Shirley Wright, son Gordon Prunty, brothers Elwin and Clarence Wiley, sister Helen Menclewicz.
A funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, October 27 at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. Pastor Ron Phillips, First Baptist Church of Elyria, will officiate. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
