Mrs. Estes was a native of the Hebron Community in Jones County. She was a graduate of William Carey College in Hattiesburg. She was a school teacher, church secretary, hostess, librarian, recreation leader, serving First Baptist Church in Biloxi and at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison.
Survivors include: Willie Mae King of Reidsville, N.C. and Eleanor Tidwell of Booneville; brother, Ranson Pickering of Ocala, Fla.; and caregiver, Mary Lou Biggers of Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the Broadmoor Baptist Missions Fund.
