A retired cement finisher and resident of Zachary, LA. he died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, in the Hospice wing at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 72 and a native of Wilkinson County, Miss.
Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, in charge of arrangements. Service at New Irondale Baptist Church, Weyanoke, conducted by the Rev. Albert Anderson III. Interment in church cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Yvonne Johnson; daughter, Paula D. Johnson; sons, Darren Johnson and Farrar Johnson Jr.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Jack Johnson Sr.; daughter, Marian Johnson; and brother, Jack Johnson Jr.
