Hugh was the son of William C. & Mary Jane Kaylor Robinson. He married Spicey Freeman on February 22, 1907 in Madison County. She was the daughter of Efford & Josephine Isaacs Freeman and the widow of William Snowden.

The couple were the parents of Jeanette, Mac and Marietta Robinson. Their marriage ended in divorce.

He married Eva Gano, the daughter of Samuel & Margaret Swartz Gano. Mr. Robinson earned his living by working as a printer and, later, was the proprietor of a restaurant.

•Obituary-John Hugh Robinson, 44, of 304 Long street, died Sunday at 1:45 p.m. at the Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was well known in Hamilton.

Surviving him are the bereaved widow, Mrs. Eva Robinson; two daughters, Mrs. Janet [sic Jeanette] Points and Mrs. Marietta Kelly, of Cincinnati; and one son, Mack [sic Mac] Robinson, of Cincinnati; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Mullins, and a brother, Reuben Robinson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Mullins, of 1216 Goodman aveue, with the Rev. Edwin Haggard officiating. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
