Arthur M. Walters, 91, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010. He was the retired executive director of Louisville Urban League and a retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Army, a deacon of Harrods Creek Baptist Church, and former director of Destination Louisville, Pres-byterian, USA.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Walters; and children, Reginald Walters (Barbara), Artye DuLaney, Michele Barnett (Randy), Lisa Hord (Derrick) and Anthony Higgins (Stephanie).
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Green Castle Baptist Church, 4970 Murphy Lane. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Friday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
