Mrs. Peter Petersen, 64, died Friday at a Correctionville nursing home after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, Anthon. Seik, Minister of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Anthon.
Mrs. Petersen was born May 29, 1902, at Hastings, Neb. The former Mildred Lucille Shaw, she was married to Peter M. Petersen Sept. 14, 1920 in Sioux City. She moved from Hastings to Anthon when she was 13 years old and had lived there since. Mr. Petersen died in 1956.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eldon Ashley and Miss Mary Ellen Petersen, both of Anthon; a brother, Melvin Shaw of Sioux City; two half sisters, Mrs. Helen Hartt and Mrs. Opal Singer, both of Bell, Calif.; a half brother, Harold Burton of Bell; her mother, Mrs. Katherine Burton of Bell; and eight grandchildren.
