Born December 16, 1938 in Hiroshima, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Yode and Tatsue Kin.
She was a Hiroshima Atomic Bomb survivor. She retired as a home health care provider and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Waynesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Matsumoto.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Randolph Wright, children, Joshua Wright and his wife Anna of Waynesboro, two daughters, Gina Delaney and her husband Brian of Massanutten, Jennifer Wright of Fairfax, six sisters, Junko Clarke of Freeport, New York, Kimiko " Pochini", Akiko, Fukuko, all of Japan, Hurko and Sunako, both of Korea, four grandchildren, Jacob William Wright, Rebecca Elizabeth Wright, Stephanie Delaney, Christopher Delaney.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Central Baptist Church, Bookerdale Road, by the Rev. Vernon Berry. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
