Continental Currency
W. W. Little, of Chazy, exhibit, a one dollar Continental bill dated 1776, which was paid to Capt. John Cogswell for services in the army of the Revolution, and handed down by his daughter, "Aunt Laura Gilbert," who died in Chazy two years ago at the advanced age 96 years. It has been kept in a little straw basket little bigger than your thumb, probably as old as the currency.
