Victoria M. Haynes, age 63, of Richmond, died Friday, October 8, 2010, at Reid Hospital. Born December 15, 1946, in Richmond, to Kenneth and Reba Schenk, she was a life-long resident of Richmond. Vickie was a graduate of Richmond High School. She loved animals, especially her labrador retrievers. Vickie worked at ALCOA as an Inspector for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Daniel C. Haynes; brother, Kevin Schenk of Centerville; and nieces and nephews, including special niece and nephew, Lisa and Chris Allen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Victoria M. Haynes will be from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2010, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at the Meeting House at New Garden (New Garden Friends), 1334 New Garden Road, Fountain City, Indiana, with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
