Services for Mrs. Lilly Mae Jones, 73, of Heflin will Friday at 2 PM at Heflin Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Beason Grove Baptist Church cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends from 6 to 10 tonight and Friday until an hour before services at the funeral home. The body will be at the church an hour before services.
Mrs. Jones died Wednesday in a Gainsville, Fla., hospital.
Survivors include a son, Jack L. Giles of Gainesville, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Howie of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Spurgeon Thrower and Toliver Thrower, both of Heflin; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of Heflin and a member of Heflin Baptist Church.
