Robert Terry was born in England about 1610 (aged 25 on 13 July 1635). He came to Massachusetts Bay in 1635 on the James (on 13 July 1635, "Robert Terry," aged 25, was enrolled at London as a passenger for New England on the James). He first settled in Lynn MA, but moved to Southampton by 1640 & Flushing NY by 1651.
He married by about 1654 (but probably earlier) Sarah Farrington, daughter of EDMUND FARRINGTON {1635, Lynn} (in his will of 12 August 1667, Edmund Farrington included a bequest to "my son Roberd Terry").
He died after 14 February 1670/1 (when he witnessed a will) and before 1675 (when he did not appear in the list of estates at Flushing but his presumed son did).
Robert Terry was almost certainly a brother of RICHARD TERRY {1635, Lynn} and THOMAS TERRY {1635, Lynn}.
