She was born November 24, 1969 in Lorain, Ohio and was a lifelong resident.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School and attended JVS.
Jacqueline worked as a day care provider and was a member of New Creation Baptist Church in Lorain. Her favorite pastime included reading, cooking, watching soap operas and spending time with her children.
She also was an extended mother to the children of family members and to children in her neighborhood.
She will be sadly missed by her six children, Annice S Brown, TiJaun A Brown, Gabrielle L Brown , Dominique M Brown, James M Brown III and Dontevion M Brown, all of Lorain; her parents, James Brown Jr. and Gretchen Brown (nee Huff) of Lorain; her maternal grandparents, James and Doris Huff of Lorain; and a host of aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Brown Sr. and Lela Brown.
Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon at Second Baptist Church, 300 W 13th St in Lorain. The Rev. Marilyn Parker-Jeffries of New Creation Baptist Church will officiate the services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
