David "Jack" Potts, 63, of 5853 Leebel Road, East Petersburg, died Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital after a long illness. Potts and his wife, Reva Mae Smith Potts, were married 43 years in September. For 26 years he was employed by EVCOR Inc. and at the time of his death he worked for International Signal Control at Hempfield Industrial Park. Potts was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 134. Born in Memphis, Tenn., he was a son of the late Charles W. and Louella Wylie Potts. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Susan, wife of Scott F. Wise, Lancaster; a son, David W., Elizabethtown; four grandchildren; one sister, Mary, wife of John A. Fager, Lancaster; and two brothers, Edward H., Lancaster, and Robert D., Birmingham, Ala. (Intelligencer Journal - May 30, 1985)
