On October 13, 2010 Rob left this mortal life to join his Heavenly Father. He was born on July 20, 1965 to Sandy Snedeger and Larry Barney. Rob loved to have fun and tease everybody. He loved to sing Karaoke and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife Cherl Barney and children: Josh (Torie) Barney, Nichelle (Joshua) Rowell, Jake (Angie) Barney, Tasha Franco, Devene Leavitt and Taylor Barney. Sisters; DeDee (Craig) Fawson, Lori (Mark) Kessinger, and Sandi (Jeremy) Hodges. Grandchildren; Kaylee Barney, Lillian Barney, and Joshua Evan Rowell, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, stepfather Claude Snedeger, brother; David Barney, and nephew; Travis Kessinger. Funeral services will be held at the LDS Church 253 South 200 East, Tooele, Utah 84074 on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 12 pm. Friends may visit one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will be held at the Tooele City Cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wells Fargo in memory of Robert Barney.
