Elsie Evelyn Morrison
Elsie Evelyn Morrison, 77, Des Moines, died Dec. 8, 1961 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. She was born Dec. 13, 1903, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bergman. Her first husband was Raymond McMillan and her second husband was Roy Morrison. She lived in the Winterset and Boone areas during her marriages, then moved to Des Moines and worked until her retirement in 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents, bother husbands, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include three sisters, Grace Borland of Story City and Helen Knight and Iva Bergman of Boone, and a brother, Rudy Bergman of Stratford.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Stark-Welin Chapel with the Rev. Mark Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
