Diane will be forever held in loving memory by her family and friends. She was born in Atlanta on April 13, 1942 and graduated from Brown High School, where she played the clarinet in the marching band. She was blessed with a beautiful soprano voice and had several lead parts in the Baptist Tabernacle's Christmas cantatas and special productions at Easter. She married an active duty Air Force officer, Gene Brock, on June 23, 1974. Diane immediately took on major responsibilities; such as choir Director at Christ United Methodist Church, Skylarks Director at Robins Air Force Base, Welcome Wagon Lady for Warner Robins, and was in Real Estate sales. Meanwhile, she was raising six children who were actively engaged in sports. When they transferred to Hawaii, she served as Skylarks Director for the Hickam Air Force Base Officer's Wives and served on the Officer's Wives Club board of officers. During the past few years, she wasn't able to play an active role due to ill health. She no longer had the breath to sing, but she could still do something she truly loved, and that was pulling for her Atlanta Braves. She never missed a game on T. V.
Her parents, Donald P. Brown and Dorothy Janette Davis Brown; and son, Donald P. "Donnie" Brock, preceded her in death. Diane is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, Eugene B. Brock, Warner Robins; only sister, Denise Brown Stanfield (James), Woodstock, Georgia; children, Julianne Brock Bryant, Warner Robins, Scott M. Brock (Marlys), San Diego, California, Laura Brock Colgin (Larry), Juniata, Nebraska, Donald G. Brock, Warner Robins, Bonnie Brock Cox, Marshallville, Georgia, Brooks C. Brock, Warner Robins; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
