We did not loose Lynn Tackett this week....he isn't lost...he is with Jesus in Heaven... we are the ones lost without him.... especially his wife, DiAnn and family. He was a great friend of Promise Land Christian Bookstore. He and DiAnn encouraged us all the way when we begin this journey. This is a picture of Lynn and DiAnn about 6 weeks ago. Someone has given Lynn a hat with hair in anticipation of him loosing his hair due to chemo. He was always a good sport .

Lynn Tackett age 64 of Buchanan, TN formerly of Virgie, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on June 10, 1945 to the late Leonard and Mancie Mae Little Tackett.
He was a member of the Buchanan Baptist Church and the West Tennessee Senior Golf Association, a former principal at Millard Vocational School, a volunteer marshall at the Paris Landing State Park golf course and a principal for 27 years at the Murray Calloway County Vocational School.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister; Lynda Ratliffe.
He is survived by his wife; DiAnn Neal Tackett, one daughter; Candice (David) Keene of Pikeville, two sons; Doug (Sookie) Roberts of Paris, TN, Dennis (Rhonda) Roberts of Louisville, one sister; Charlotte Booher of Kettering, OH, one brother; Hobert Dale (Joyce) Tackett of Chapin, SC, one sister-in-law; Nancy (Gary) Smith of Puryear, TN, two brother-in-laws; Charlie (Jan) Neal, Robert Neal both of Paris, TN and ten grandchildren
