Jan is my sister-in-law, please add the following---Note---last name is spelled "Griffin" Jan Michelle Griffin, the daughter of Charles and Peggy (Gray) Myers was born July 7, 1957 in Onawa, Iowa. She graduated from Whiting High School in 1975 and was united in marriage to Timothy Griffin, April 2, 1979 on Oahu, Hawaii. After they were married the couple moved to Saudi Arabia, Jan worked for the Arabian American Oil Co for five years. In 1983 the couple moved to Sheldon, Iowa and took over farming operation for Tim's father. They adopted two girls from Lima Peru, Ashley in 1989 and Katerina in 1992.
Jan is survived by her husband, Tim of Sheldon, two daughters, Ashley and Katerina both at home, her mother Peg and husband Leo Murphy of Phoenix, AZ, a bother, Jeffrey and wife Lisa Myers of Kansas City, Kansas, and a sister, Jolene and her husband David Haverfield of St. Louis, Missouri, maternal grandmother, Evelyn and Jack Hall of Onawa, Iowa, paternal grandmother, Anna Myers of Whiting, and two step brothers, Kelly Murphy of S. Sioux City and Kevin Murphy of Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Myers and an uncle, Russell Myers.
