MATTIE E. CRULL SCHWINTZ

Mattie E. Crull was born at Neal, Kans., Feb 3f, 1882 where she grew up and was married to Edward Schwintz Sept 13, 1903. To this union were born six children, two of whom with the husband survive, namely Alma and Vincent, to mourn the untimely demise of a loving wife and mother, who passed after only a few minutes illness Aug 27, 1917, at 11:00 p.m. As stated in last week's paper she was subject to severe spells of asthma, and having a particularly hard attack at time mentioned. She awakened her family, who calling a physician, tired to help her but she passed away before the doctor could get there.
Besides her husband and children she leaves her mother, Mrs. C. M. Crull of Kansas City, five sisters and two brothers.
The funeral, largely attended was held at the Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon, the Pastor Rev. Claude Rugles coming from Eureka to officiate. Interment in the Hamilton Cemetery beside her children who had gone on before.
