OBITUARY :
LILLIAN MAY HISSONG, 85, of 557 Pratt Court, died Friday, March 24, 2000, at Waynesboro Hospital.

Born July 11, 1914, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Armour W. and Grace Bertha Kugler Richardson.

Her husband, David Charles Hissong, died Dec. 3, 1974.

She attended Waynesboro schools.

She was employed at Waynesboro Laundry; then did domestic work for local families, retiring in 1997.

She was a member of Glen Furney Assembly of God Church, Waynesboro.

She was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 Ladies Auxiliary, Waynesboro.

She is survived by two sisters, Jane L. Cline and Alice V. Shade, both of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Arvella Shilling and Ethel Branhaver and a brother, Robert Richardson.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Dwan N. Newsome will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o Mrs. Angela Murdorf, 148 N. Potomac St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
