Nettie Myrtle was born September 30, 1892 in Henly, Tx to Owen and Clara Florence (Reed) McKenna. She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. The family moved to Concho county, where she met and married Floyd Benton on December 4, 1910. They had 9 children in 21 yrs. she died January 25, 1976 and is buried in the Ft.McKavett cemetery. (Schleicher county)
