The Funeral of Mrs. M. Huntley
The funeral of Mrs. Matilda Huntley, who died on Monday last, took place yesterday, the interment being made in the cemetery at Burwood. The deceased was one of the early settlers of California, having come to this state in 1853 from Illinois. She made Amador county her home until 1857, when she removed to the vicinity of Burwood, where she resided up to the time of her death. Mrs. Huntley leaves a husband, L. L. Huntley, and the following -named sons and daughters: Edward E., Robert P., and Jesse H. Huntley of this county, Mrs. John Hall of this county, Mrs. John Warren of San Diego, Mrs. William Body of Salt Lake City, Mrs. T. A. Crow of Crow's Landing and Misses Susan and Edith Huntley.
