SPRINGFIELD NEWS---January 25, 1950
William Hopper, 39, of Green Forest, Ark., died this morning in a Springfield hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Euvella Hopper; two sons, Harley and Eugene, both of the home; one daughter, Carolyn of the home; his mother, Mrs. Maybell Hopper of Del Rey, Cal.; Four sister, Mrs. Beulah McCullian and Mrs. Lilly Jones, both of Del Rey, and Mrs. Agnes Little and Mrs. Juanita Bratton, both of Log Beach, Cal.; six brothers, Ralph of Elkins, Ark., George and Bert of Stockton, Cal. Delmer of California, Roy of Ada,Okla., and Claude of Baltimore, Md.
Funeral arrangements, under direction of Everett J. Cheatham of Galena, are incomplete but burial will be in Yocum Pond Cemetery near Reed Springs.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Catis Epley of Butterfied at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Rock Church a mile west of Reeds Spring. Burial was in Yocum Pond Cemetery under direction Cheatham of Galena.
