Mr. Barott, born in Linwood, Minn., lived in the Minneapolis area for about 30 years. He was a retired boilermaker for the Great Northern Railroad Co., where he worked for 27 years.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard and Calvin, both of Columbia Heights; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Bueghly, Hinsdale, Ill.; Mrs. Sharon Krause, Spring Lake Park, and Mrs. Patricia Davis. Columbia Heights; three brothers, Walter and Orin, Linwood, and Orville, Minneapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Gallagher, Columbia Heights, and Mrs. Percy Cakebread, Holabird, S. D.
