LAGRANGE — Services for Chris H. Reade Sr., 79, of 529 E. Spring, who died Wednesday night in the LaGrange Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack earlier at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Frurip-May Funeral Home. Rev. Carldean Merrifield will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery, north of Wolcottville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the LaGrange County Heart Association.
He was born on May 11, 1903, in LaGrange, and lived in the area all his life. On June 3, 028, in Albion, he married Daisy F. Hoff.
She survives with two sons, Chris H. Jr. of LaGrange and John E. of Wolcottville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Smith of LaGrange and Miss Pearl Reade of Goshen; and a brother, Kenneth of LaGrange.
He was retired from the LaGrange County Highway Department.
