Born in Greenville County, the daughter of the late Rev. G.M. and Bessie Townsend Eads, she was formerly a nursing assistant and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Paige Elkurdi of Springfield, Va., and Elizabeth Emory of Marietta; a brother, Bannister Eads of Easley; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Billy Wright of Greenville. In addition to her parents, Ms. Eads was predeceased by two daughters, Margie Fletcher and Wilannie Couch.
Ms. Eads donated her body to the Medical University of South Carolina for anatomical research.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, is assisting the family with arrangements. Published in The Greenville News on December 31, 2004
