He was small for his age and active in Boy Scouts. He attended and graduated from Olney High School.
Drafted for Vietnam in 1968, his basic training was in El Paso, TX. He was very lucky to be stationed in Germany. And was always very proud to have served in the Army.
In 1971 he married Joyce Kaye Davis and addopted her daughter Tammy. Later having 2 more children DeWayne and Becky.
By 1975 he moved to East TX. working in parts for a drilling co. Later working at Kelly Springfield Tire Co.
Perry was soft hearted. Easy going and interesting to talk to. You hardly ever found him in a bad mood.
Died at an early age of 46 with a heart attack. He is buried in the Ascension Section by his parents.
