Funeral Service For Mrs. Cromer
To Be Held Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jones Cromer,57, who died Wednesday night at her home at 1715 Pinewood Street, will be conducted from the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in West Columbia, at 4 o'clock with interment following in Elmwood Cemetery.
The Rev. Wynne C. Boliek will be in charge and will be assisted by the Rev. L.O. Dasher and Dr. T.A. Snyder.
Mrs. Cromer had lived in Columbia for the last four and a half years. Before that she was a resident of Lexington county.
Surviving are her husband, K. A. Cromer; three daughters, Miss Dorothy Cromer, Miss Mary Cromer, and Mrs. Martha Cromer Brazell of Columbia; one son, J.H. Cromer of the United States Navy in foreign service; two sisters, Mrs. J.E. Watkins of Columbia, and Mrs. J.H. Corley of Lexington; two brothers, Nelson Jones of San Lewis Obesno and Lonnie L. Jones of the United States Army at Camp Wallace, Texas; also a number of other relatives.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the church council: Dr. C.T. Whetsell, L.V. Merchant, Dr. Ben Miller, Bert Gilman, E.D. Harrell, H.A. Young, C.J. Levy, D.A. Spigner, J.W. White and Otto Booye. They are asked to meet at the church at 4:30.
Active pallbearers will be P.B. Eleazer, E.J. Hobbs, J.D. Brazell, G.E. Livingston, M.E. Awtrey. and Edward Fetner.
They are asked to meet at the residence at 4 o'clock.
