James G. Foster
James G. Foster, 91, longtime Livingston resident, died Thursday evening in Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Franzen-Davis-Bebee Chapel with Rev. L. E. Magsig of Grace United Metodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 25, 1885, in Washburn, Missouri, and spent his early life and received his education in Missouri.
Mr. Foster came to Livingston in 1907. He was employed here by the Northern Pacific as a store foreman. He retired in April, 1938.
He married Dollie Snyder Aug. 4, 1918 in Garfield, Ark. They returned to Livingston following their marriage and had made their home here since.
Mr. Foster was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife Dollie, of Livingston, he is survived by three sons, James H. of Cherry Hill, N.J., Harvey M.of Satellite Beach, Fla., and Robert W. Foster of Stanwood, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Susan) Henderson of Livingston, Mrs. William (Vivian) Cannon of Billings and Mrs. Ed (Lois) Wojnowski of Phoenix, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
