Kristin Kay Harris of Boise, formerly of Lewiston, died of cancer Wednesday at a nursing home here. She was 25.
She was born May 7, 1965, at Lewiston. She spent her childhood at Lewiston and while she was in high school, the family moved to Boise. She graduated from Capital High School in 1983.

She attended the University of Idaho and majored in theater arts. She was active in the marching band and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

She worked at Skipper's restaurant and Albertson's Food Stores at Boise.

In 1986, she entered the U.S. Navy and was stationed at Point Mugu, Calif.

She enjoyed the theater and while living at Lewiston was active in the Lewiston Civic Theatre.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Bruce Fuller of Boise; father and stepmother, David and Darlene Harris of Clarkston; two sisters, Michele Steel of Boise and Terry Mattison of Longview, Wash.; two stepsisters, Joy Sweepe of Clarkston and Haley Fuller of Boise; two stepbrothers, Jeff and Scott Rokstad, both of Clarkston; grandparents Rose Lyle of Boise, Pat Harris of Ocean Park, Wash., and Claude Luffman of El Centro, Calif.; and great-grandmother Merle Kennedy of Yakima.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Summers Funeral Home at Boise. The Rev. Darrell V. Beddoe will officiate. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Summers Funeral Home at Boise.
