Glen's Obituary from the Council Bluffs (iowa) Nonpareil--December 12, 1944 page 6 read:
Glen T. Williams
Glen Thomas Williams, 52, resident of Council Bluffs most of his life died Sunday at a local hospital.
In recent years he has been a telephone company linesman at Grundy Center. He was a veteran of World War I and a manager of the Grundy Center American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Vera Williams, a son Max, a daughter Ella Kay, his mother Mrs. Ella Williams of Hazel Del township, his father Dan Williams of Honey Creek, five brothers, Riley, Roy, Ivan, Paul and Wayne, all of Council Bluffs, two sisters Mrs Garnet Collister of Council Bluffs and Mrs Gertrude Blodgett of Crescent.
The funeral will be held Thurs. at 2:30 pm at Wooling (?) Chapel. Elder V.D. Rush of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church officiating. Burial in the Crescent Cemetery. The body is at Wooling (?) Morturary.
