Edwina B. Smith, 84, a native of Lottie, and a resident of Branford, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at North Florida Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Bray and Lealand Bray. Survivors include her husband, William B. Smith of Branford, Fla.; son, William B. Smith of Davie, Fla.; three brothers, Vercial Bray of Fairhope, Samuel Bray of Columbus, Miss. and Benson Bray of Foley; three sisters, Erin Elkins of Mobile, Carolyn Hayes of Loxley and Elaine Dobson of Douglasville, Ga.; and four aunts, Mary Elmore of Tallahassee, Fla., Leo Atkeison of Atmore, Eleanor Purser of Pt. Charlotte, Fla. and Ruth Vickery of Atmore. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Norris Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at Galilee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
