He is survived by two childeren,. Harold Ashley and Clinton Ashley both of this city. One sone, Albert preceded him in death.

He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Laura Nix of Delaware, OK. and two brothers, George Ashley of Oilton, OK., and Harold Ashley of Salem, IL. and six grandchildren.

source: unknown OK. newspaper

Albert was deaf and used sign language to communicate. One of his nephews said when he got mad he would put his hands behind his back and his fingers would just fly.

NOTE: The newspaper above List Albert's birth as Columbus, KS. but it was Covington, IN. And the listing for cemetery is Wild Rose Cemetery, located in Webb City, MO. The web site made me chose Webb City Cemetery, I think because Wild Rose used to be Webb City. Hope this helps with any confusion.
