Death of Mrs. Louisa Berkley
Mrs Louisa Reid Berkley died at 8:50 o’clock June 9. at her late residence at 59 South Mechanic street, aged 72 years and 11 months. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. L. W. Munson, of Stamford, Conn.; Mrs. Ida Oliver and Miss Anna. at home. She was a sister of Mr. James Reid, the veteran mail carrier. This good woman, before her affliction of total blindness, was known all over the city for her kindness to the sick and afflicted. No hour too late or way too rough or dark for her to tread on her way to comfort the afflicted and many will rise up and call her blessed. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
