He was born in Toledo, Ohio, the son of George and Gladys (Jones) Harrison. Warren graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1942.
He was an avid bowler, liked watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family. Warren was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He retired from Westinghouse after 22 years of employment.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Harrison, Muncie, and Susan Massey, Anderson; two step-children, Keith Ruble (wife-Denise), Wilmington, N.C., and Leslie Griffith (husband-Mark), Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, William Harrison, Pendleton; one sister, Martha Sinclair, Muncie; four grandchildren, Bret, Tracy, Scott and Kalissa; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Florence; his second wife, Joyce; one brother, Vere Harrison; and one brother-in-law, William Sinclair.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Military rites will be given by the Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard. Family and friends may call 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary or one hour prior to services Wednesday.
