Paul Edgar Oller, 70, of Apollo, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. He was born Dec. 28, 1939, in Lordstown, Ohio, the son of the late Clyde F. and Ila Rose Powell Oller.

Paul is a member of the North Apollo Church of God and before his retirement was employed by HJ Bell Company in Braddock as a dock worker. He loved woodworking, playing cards, his trips to the casino and first and foremost, his time spent with his family.

He is survived by eight daughters, Kathy Soika and her husband, Mark, of Tazewell, Tenn., Cindy Evans and her husband, Mike, of Streetsboro, Ohio, Theresa Gaydeski and her husband, Tom, of Washington Township, Barbara Cehelsky and her husband, Ron, of Butler, Debbie Mazzon, of North Apollo, Lisa McAninch and her husband, Michael, of New Kensington, Sonya Ashbaugh and her husband, Rick, of Freeport, and Jennifer Flick and her husband, Ryan, also of Freeport; three sons, Jeffery Oller and his wife, Sharon, of Newton Falls, Ohio, Robert Ogden, of Spring Church, and Frank Ogden, of Burgettstown; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Helen Smith, of Saxton, Anna Sheesley and her husband, Kerry, of Warren, Ohio, Rosalyn Reynolds and her husband, Jerry, of Eaton, Ohio, Jean Dickson and her husband, Fred, of Warren, Ohio, and Harriet Daugherty, of Apollo; three brothers, Clyde L. Oller, of Sharon, Frank Oller and his wife, Linda, of Newton Falls, Ohio, and Eugene Oller and his wife, Carolyn, of Leavittsburg, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Micula; and his second wife, Edith Metz Oller.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 until the time of service at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the KELLY L. CORRIDONI FUNERLA HOME LTD., 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, with his pastor Robert Shellenberger officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo. Valley News Dispatch 10/18/2010
