OBITUARY - Statesville Record and Landmark (Statesville, North Carolina) - Thu, Apr 15, 1976 - Page 11 - Miss Cordia Olivia Albea, 81, of 422 W. Sharpe St. died in Iredell Memorial Hospital at 3:30 a.m. today.
She was born in Iredell County on Sept. 10, 1894, and was a daughter of the late John R. and Mary Jane Foster Albea. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one brother, Claude Harvey Albea of the home, and one sister, Mrs. James I. (Lottie) Knight, of 420 W. Sharpe St. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Miss Albea will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. C.F. Womble and Rev. Melton E. Harbin will officiate, and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will assemble at the residence, and will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
