Arthur (Art) Raymond, 73, Frankfort, Kansas, died Monday, March 30, 1987 at the Frankfort nursing home.
He was born at Bigelow, Kansas on January 21, 1914, the son of Nelson and Emma Raymond.
Art farmed all of his life in the Frankfort area until 1969 when he went to work for the Vliets Farmers Co-op Association, Vliets, Kansas. He worked there until he retired.
Mr. Raymond was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church at Frankfort, Kansas.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Teresa, of the home; one son, Quentin Raymond, Vermillion, Kansas; two daughters Mrs.
Patricia Robinson, Lawrence, Kansas and Donna Wright, Manhattan, Kansas; four grandsons, Jason, Shane and Ryan
Robinson, Lawrence, Kansas and Jeremy Wright, Manhattan, Kansas; three sisters, Mildred Johnson and Martha Burton,
Frankfort, Kansas and Margaret Vaughn, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.
Rosary was held on Tuesday, March 31, 1987 at Padden Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 1987 at Annunciation Catholic Church. Father Jim Shaughnessy officiated. Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
