Susannah Cooke was the daughter of Sears Cooke and Abigail Crosby. She was first married to Benjamin Walker of Wilmington, 27 Nov 1800 in Billerica. They were the parents of six children: Benjamin; Timothy, a judge and one of the founders of the University of Cincinnati Law School; Sears Cook, a famous astronomer; Horatio; Joseph Brewster, a well-known attorney; and Susan.

After Benjamin's death in 1811, Susannah married Cap't Ezra Kendall, 30 Nov 1815 in Wilmington. They were parents of Judith, Ezra Otis and Abigail Maria.

Susannah Cooke Walker Kendall was a lineal descendant of Elder William Brewster, who came on the Mayflower to Plymouth in 1620.
