Nora Ella Skipworth Bailey is the daughter of Finus Taylor and Joan Wright Hamilton Skipworth. She was one of thirteen children.

Nora Ella was born on March 18, 1883. Not sure where she was born but think maybe in Clay County.

Nora Ella married Sam Henery Bailey on December 2, 1902.
They had 5 daughters Nellie, Lula May, Lizzie, Lee (twins)
and Orene. She lived in or around Kress, Texas most of her life. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Kress.
Sam Henery died prior to her. She continued to live in Kress until 1958. At that time she went to live with her youngest daughter Orene Bailey Hunsucker in Amarillo, Texas.

She was surived by four daughters Lee McBride of Amarillo, Lizzie Pyle of Eden, Texas, Nellie Alexander of Paso Robles, California and Orene Hunsucker of Amarillo. She also had one brother Roy Skipworth of Ft Sumner New Mexico and two sisters Belle Duvall of Kress, Texas and Ira Kerr of Dexter New Mexico. Other survivors inclued 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great-great children.
