Patricia Maxwell Messer, 69, a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. Born April 6, 1941 in Conasauga, TN, she was of the Baptist faith.
Educated in Bradley County schools, Patricia was employed at Elastic Yarns and Favorite Market before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and George W. Maxwell and brother, William "Jack" Maxwell.
Survivors include her children, Vickey Martin and husband Jimmy Lemons, John H. Wiggins, Angie Bacon and husband Tim and Charles "Chuck" Messer; grandchildren, Tim Bacon and wife Allison, Andrew "Bubba" Bacon and wife Rebecca, Emily, C.J. and Marilyn Messer; great grandchildren, Emmarie Bacon and soon to be great grandson, Brody Bacon; sister, Barbara Rice; brother, Doug Maxwell; niece, Nicky Maxwell; nephews, Paul Rice, Jr., and Brian Rice.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Sherlin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
