Morene P. Ausburn
Powdersville, SC - Morene Pritchett Ausburn, 82, of 113 Roe Road, Powdersville Community, Greenville, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Riverside Nursing Center in Piedmont.
Born in Carnesville, Ga., she was a homemaker and a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Randall Ausburn and Ralph Ausburn, both of Powdersville, Charles Ausburn of Belton and Edward Ausburn of Powdersville; daughters, Maxie Smith and Sybil Phillips, both of Powdersville, and Elaine Duncan of the home; sisters, Amanda Wilson of Cornelia, Ga., Viola Ward and Reba Pritchett, both of Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was the widow of Homer H. Ausburn and a daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Evie Thomason Pritchett. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Ausburn, a grandson, Steven Ray Duncan, and a brother, W. C. Pritchett.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Joel Jenkins and Rev. Wyndole Sullivan; burial will be in Siloam Baptist Church cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The family is at the home and suggests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of S.C., 301 University Ridge, Greenville, S.C. 29601
