Robert Joseph "Bob" Alblinger, 53, of Bement died Apr 5, 1998 at the Bement Health Care Center. Funeral mass will be April 8, 1998 at the St Michael's Catholic Church, Bement with burial in Bement Cemetery. Military services accorded by the Albert Parker Post #620.
Mr. Alblinger was born August 27, 1944 in Pana IL, a s/o Bernard and Lois Auth Alblinger and they survive in Ivesdale IL. He married Vivian Jean Alexander on October 5, 1968 and she survives. Other survivors include a son, Thomas Bernard of Bement; a brother, Kevin of Ivesdale; two sisters: Charlene Pope, Bement; and Marilee Hixson of Ivesdale.
Mr. Alblinger served four years in the US Navy as an aviation electrician. He was a member of St Michael's Catholic Church, Albert Parker Post #620 American Legion Post, and served as commander in 1976. He loved to read and was a lover of wildlife, especially the bald eagles.
