Eric Scott Torgerson, age 10, of Dardanelle, Ark., passed away Friday, April 7, 2000, at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Eric was born October 2, 1989, in Russellville, Ark. He was a home-schooled fourth grade student and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Danville. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Roy Turnbull.

Survivors are his parents David E. and Sherrie Turnbull Torgerson, two brothers David L. Torgerson and Austin C. Torgerson, both of Dardanelle, Ark., and two sisters Genevieve C. Torgerson and Giselle M. Torgerson, both of Dardanelle, Ark.; paternal grandparents David Charles and Olive M. Torgerson of Salt Lake City, Utah; maternal grandparents Perry and Vanitta C. Turnbull of Little Rock,
Ark.; great-grandparents Warren and Winifred Dillon of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; Ione Turnbull of Lusk, Wyo.; Nanny Mae Hawthorne of Marshall, Texas.

Funeral services were held April 11 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Russellville, Ark., with President Bobby Joe Stokes presiding. Burial was in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle.

Pallbearers were David E. Torgerson, David L. Torgerson, Derek K. Torgerson, David C. Torgerson, Perry L. Turnbull, Perry R. Turnbull, P.J. Turnbull and Curtis J. Turnbull. Donations may be made to Friends of Kids With Cancer,
