Jessica M. Davidson, 29, who was born on March 17, 1981of Church Hill was saved by God's amazing grace and went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning (April 6, 2010).
She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and a graduate of Volunteer High School. Jessica was a relief supervisor with Brock LLC at Tennessee Eastman Company. She was a loving mother to her daughters, and a special person to those who knew her. Jessica will be remembered for her laugh, her smile and her caring heart.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Guy Rex "Sherrill" Eaton; her great grandparents, Carter Jenkins, Ballard and Annie Davidson, Jim & Ruby Martin; a special uncle, Walter Ballard "Bud" Davidson.
Jessica Davidson is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Kimberly Gibson and Taylor Gibson (of the home); father of her children, Vance Gibson (Kingsport); her parents, Russell and Vickie Davidson (Surgoinsville); sisters, Rebecca (Michael) Chandler (Rogersville), LeighAnn Davidson (Jamie Kistner) (Church Hill), Sherylene Smith (Surgoinsville); her grandparents, Pete and Nellie Davidson (Surgoinsville), Helen Eaton (Church Hill); a great grandmother, Annie Jenkins (Church Hill); her nieces and nephews, Allison Chandler, Isaac Chandler (Rogersville), Brooke Kistner, Bradley Kistner (Church Hill), Paige Smith, Micah Smith, Lakin Smith (Surgoinsville) along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Calling hours were held on Thursday (April 8, 2010) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home of Church Hill or friends may also anytime at the residence of her parents, J. Russell & Vickie Davidson, 319 Watterson Gap Road in Surgoinsville. A funeral service was conducted on Thursday (April 8, 2010) at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Elder Neil Drinnon & Elder Fred Gilreath officiating. Music will be provided by New Foundation. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday (April 9, 2010) at 11 a.m. at Jenkins Chapel Church Cemetery with Joshua Eaton, Jacob Eaton, Vance Gibson, Jayson Christian, Carroll Jenkins, Branduff Manis, Nathan Riner, & Travis Ramey serving as pallbearers.
