Mr. William Driscoll died at his home on Lexington pike this morning at 2:45 o'clock, after being confined to his bed several months, suffering from general debility. He was born in the city of Cork, Ireland, and came to this city about thirty years ago. He was forty-four years of age and leaves a wife and seven children – six boys and one daughter. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, St. Patrick's Society and the Neptune Fire Company. Mr. Driscoll was an industrious, kind hearted man, and had a host of warm friends. He made the most faithful night watchman Maysville ever had. Funeral will take place Thursday. The hour will be given to-morrow.("Evening Bulletin" Maysville, KY; Feb 21, 1893 pg. 3)
