Deed January 8, 1830:
John Thomas Sr sold to: Robert, Francis, Jane, Nancy, John, Tandy, Sally, James, and William H. Quisenberry, heirs and representatives of James H. Quisenberry, dec'd, for $150 paid by James H. Quisenberry in his lifetime, land in Owen Co he purchased from Jno. Craig & others which deed is in Owen Co Court known as the Quisenberry Place containing 149 acres, but not that conveyed to Nicholas T. Thomas (Owen Co deed book C, p. 413). 1837, 25 Mar, Cassius Claxon and Sarah his wife, and John Quisenberry and Elizabeth his wife, sold to Roger T. Quisenberry 2/8 interest in 149 acres "given to heirs of James H. Quisenberry by our Grandfather John Thomas" for $45 and $48.50 (Owen Co deed book E, p. 512).
